Pearl Drums Launches My First Drumset site featuring Pearl Artists: Todd Sucherman (Styx), Jason Hartless (Pistol Day Parade), Ray Luzer (Korn) and Nate Morton (The Voice)
In an effort to take the love of drumming to a new audience, Pearl has created My First Drumset, an interactive web platform for parents and future drummers. Focusing specifically on the experience of buying your first drum set, the website features a comprehensive buyer’s guide for first-time players, informative assembly and playing guides, and testimonials from top drummers and industry professionals about the value of studying drums and percussion.
“The site is designed to be all about the drumming experience, and inspiring people to pursue it,” states Pearl’s Director of Marketing, Steve Armstrong. “Every player has a story about getting their first drum set, and what it did for them personally and professionally. We want to take those stories forward, and help create new ones in the lives of a new generation of drummers.”
A selection of articles on the benefits of drumming, pursuing music-based education, and tips for care and continuing interest will also be available as a parent’s resource on the site. Through myfirstdrumset.com, Pearl hopes to garner more “First Drum Set” stories from new players that use the site as a resource.
